Public works is a department within the Village of Lee that oversees water treatment, village roads, alleys, and parks. The Department of Public Works employees are considered public servants who play an important role in preserving our community’s quality of life.
The role of the Department of Public Works is to provide services designed to ensure the cleanliness and safe and efficient mobility of the residents, visitors, and customers of our Village. Public works can also refer to repair work, construction, alteration, or installation done under contract and paid in whole or in part out of public funds. |
